While Amplemarket is a tool intended for outbound, we also wanted to provide a workflow for your inbound leads, which is why we created our Inbound Smart Actions. Inbound smart actions allow you to automatically reach out to an inbound lead. A good use case would be something like the following: you have a sign up form on your website and you periodically reach out to the emails you gathered to try and schedule a call for a demo.
In this article we will be talking about the custom fields involved in setting up your inbound smart actions, but if you would like to learn more about configuring them you can visit the article named "Inbound Smart Actions".
Inbound Smart Actions require a template ,just like any other sequence we start on Amplemarket, and to personalize the emails we are sending we will need to use Dynamic fields. Figuring out the correct Dynamic fields to use when setting up these templates can be tricky as we do not have this inbound lead in our system. This means that we do not have as many data points on this lead compared to those we add to our customer profiles. To combat this issue we have included the data points that we attempt to enrich when we receive an inbound lead, on the inbound smart action page.
As you can see, in the above photo, Amplemarket attempts to enrich the first and last name of the inbound lead as well as their companies name and domain. These are the dynamic fields that we should be including in our templates, if we try adding other fields the automation will likely fail and the sequence will not be sent out.
Please note that we will not always be able to enrich the data listed above so there may be instances of this action failing. If one of your Inbound Smart Actions happen to fail, consider starting that lead into a new sequence that uses fewer dynamic fields.
If you have any questions about Inbound Smart Actions or the Dynamic fields most likely to work when setting them up, please reach out to Support@Amplemarket.com.
